Welcome to "Made From Strain" — a creative campaign spotlighting the artistry of budtenders. If you design, draw, paint, or create anything visual, we want to see what you’ve got.
What Is the Made From Strain Campaign?
Utopian Threads, powered by Sano Gardens, is looking for 4 talented budtender-artists to co-create limited-edition collections as part of our 2025 drops.
Each selected artist will:

Collaborate on a limited-edition Utopian Threads collection

Be featured in our national campaign

Get exposure across dispensaries, retail, and the cannabis community

Be paid up to $10,000 for their work

Choose a charity to receive a $1,000 donation in their name
This is more than an art contest, it's a creative movement built by the people shaping cannabis culture from the inside.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify for the Made From Strain art campaign, you must:
- Be 21 or older
- Live in a U.S. state where cannabis is legal
- Be currently working as a budtender at a licensed dispensary
We're accepting all visual styles: graphic design, illustration, digital art, mixed media, graffiti, and more.
Entry Deadline
Submissions close on July 1, 2025.
Winners will be contacted by July 20, 2025.
